it was always difficult to see the home seller walk away from the
closing with a check smaller than the real estate broker would get.
These home owners lived in the house, paid the payments, and did the
improvements. It was just not right for the broker to get the lions’
share.
Upon retiring her real estate
license, Laurie wrote this book to help home sellers avoid the
outrageous commissions charged by brokers for something they could do
themselves!
Laurie resides in North
Florida where she owns a small graphics design firm. Now that her two
children are grown, she spends more time with her first love of
writing these days than designing graphics. Her book is a true
passion to help homeowners save their money and not give it to
undeserving real estate brokers.
